After Prince’s sudden death yesterday, anyone who is anyone in the music industry made it their duty to pay their respects to the legend through tweets, IG posts, and video posts galore.

Buuuuuuuttttttt….no one topped Jennifer Hudson at the end of her starring performance in Broadway’s “The Color Purple”.

And while normally, I’m not thee biggest fan of JHud’s high volume singing/yelling combo range, she and the cast definitely took the cake for the homage they paid to The Artist last night. Let’s just say the chick pretty much officially earned her spot on whatever tributes are coming up.
